Overview
The brief.
Design a clear experience for creating, managing, and publishing AI-generated landing pages. The task was to help users move beyond the first generated draft: choose a starting direction, control page visibility, understand publishing options, and connect a domain. The interface also needed to explain pricing, availability, and waiting states at the point where each decision mattered.
The Challenge
Making publishing feel as simple as generation
Generating a page is only the beginning. Users still need to understand whether it is visible to visitors, whether it can appear in search, and which address people should use to reach it. These are separate decisions, but similar labels and controls can make them easy to confuse.
Domain setup adds another layer: an address may be available to buy, purchased but not connected, or waiting for SSL activation. The challenge was to explain these states in plain language and keep the next action clear, without turning a straightforward page builder into a technical administration tool.
the solution
Clear decisions from the first idea to the live page
A starting point people can picture
I developed template concepts and visual previews that show what different types of pages could become. Each example pairs a recognisable layout with a clear purpose, helping users describe their idea and choose a direction. Category and style selection serve different roles: one shapes the page’s content, while the other sets its visual character.
Page status with a clear meaning
I designed page-visibility controls and supporting copy that explain the effect on visitors while keeping editing access clear for the owner. I treated visibility, Preview/Live status, and domain connection as separate concepts, so the interface can answer three different questions: can people open the page, what publishing options apply, and where is it available?
A domain flow that explains the commitment
I worked on availability feedback, price confirmation, purchase decisions, and the empty state for users without a domain. The flow makes the selected address and cost clear before confirmation, then accounts for the steps between buying a domain and using it for a page.
I also clarified the relationship between the two addresses: connecting a custom domain makes the default subdomain inactive; disconnecting it restores the subdomain automatically. Supporting copy explains that change beside the relevant setting.
Shared patterns across the product
The interface work follows the shared Persollo design system, with JustPage’s own brand treatment. Consistent forms, cards, dialogs, buttons, and status feedback give page management and domain settings a common structure. This provides a foundation for extending the product without introducing a different interaction model for every new feature.
Product-led website and launch visuals
Alongside the product flows, I worked on website concepts, template imagery, and promotional assets. The visual direction centres on recognisable page layouts and editing scenarios, connecting the idea of AI generation with something people can inspect and understand. Desktop and mobile compositions show how a page can carry the same message across different formats.
Outcome
The work established clearer page-management controls, a structured domain purchase and connection flow, and a consistent visual direction for templates and launch materials. The designs make page visibility, publishing status, and domain behaviour explicit, giving users a clearer basis for deciding what to do next. Shared interface patterns also give the team a foundation for extending the product as new page types and settings are added.
