Overview:
At 4bill, I led the UI/UX design for SettlePay Wallet, a digital finance platform that allows users to manage both crypto and fiat transactions in one intuitive space. The project included designing the core user-facing wallet, a streamlined crypto payment form for merchants, and a complex admin dashboard for internal platform management. My goal was to create a secure, efficient, and visually cohesive experience across all platform touchpoints.
Problem
Low conversion rates and user drop-off on the crypto payment form. The crypto payment form in the 4bill ecosystem was a key interface for merchants and users to complete transactions via SettlePay Wallet. However, analysis showed friction in the checkout experience—users frequently abandoned the process before completing payments, especially when interacting with crypto-specific steps
Solution
Analyzing the Funnel. I reviewed analytics data and collaborated with product and QA teams to identify drop-off points. Users were most likely to abandon the form:
-When the UI presented too many fields at once
-If the form lacked clear guidance on how to complete a crypto transaction
-On mobile, where layout and spacing caused confusion 2. Redesigning the Payment Flow I redesigned the crypto payment flow with a focus on clarity, speed, and trust. Key improvements included:
-Progressive Disclosure: Split the form into a clean multi-step flow (amount → payment method → wallet → confirmation), reducing cognitive load
-Smart Defaults: Auto-filled common fields based on merchant data and pre-selected the most popular tokens
-Inline Validation & Microcopy: Provided real-time error checking, contextual hints, and wallet address format examples
-Visual Token Icons: Added visual affordances like token logos so users could better understand what they were paying.
My Process
I began by mapping out user journeys for three core user groups: retail users, merchants, and administrators. For each, I designed responsive web and mobile interfaces that emphasized security, accessibility, and ease of use. Using Figma, I produced high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for:
Crypto-to-fiat conversions
Wallet
Transaction flows
Merchant-facing payment forms
Admin dashboards with filters, controls, and analytics
I worked closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams throughout agile sprints, using structured design handoff workflows and maintaining a scalable design system to ensure speed and consistency.
Result
Reduced errors during crypto wallet input
The new form achieved a 15–20% increase in payment completion rates
Decreased support requests from merchant clients related to failed or confusing transactions
The flow became more scalable — easy to adapt for new tokens or additional fiat methods
Outcomes
Designed a conversion-friendly crypto payment form for merchants, improving onboarding speed and ease of integration
Delivered a responsive, user-friendly digital wallet interface supporting both crypto and fiat transactions
Created an admin dashboard that simplified internal platform monitoring, enhanced data filtering, and boosted operational visibility
Developed and documented a unified design system to align the user and admin sides of the product ecosystem
